Atenveldt Day in the Park hosted by Sun Dragon
Come one! Come all! Come and enjoy the evening sun with games, music, the laughter of children and the chatter of friends.
The official event on Saturday, September, 25, begins at 7:00 PM and goes until 9:00 PM. The elevation of THL Eleanor Cleavely to the Order of the Laurel will take place at this event. She will begin her vigil at 5:00 PM for those wanting to come early to wish her well.
Our venue is Rio Vista Park, located in Peoria. We will be located on the field between the baseball diamonds. This is a dry site, and shade tents and staking are not allowed. This is a free event to both members and non-members.
Bring a picnic basket to enjoy with your family. Bring board and lawn games to share with all. Bring your songs and stories to delight the populace. Bring your armor and equipment to fight with your friends. Come and say hello to all! Please remember that per Society rules on food, while you can share your picnic basket with your immediate family, food cannot be shared with the populace.
