Site is Dry. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OF ANY KIND. (Brewing, Cordial and Spirits will be displayed off- site). No Smoking or Vaping except in designated areas.

The Kingdom Arts and Science Office would like to provide an opportunity for all artisans who desire to display their works of art and share their scientific discoveries with the Crown and Populace of Atenveldt a forum by which to do so.
There are many ways in which to display one’s art works and receive feedback. For our April A&S Event,
we provide the following categories:
Champion Display
Competing to become Kingdom A&S Champion. Eligible for Populace Choice, Laurel’s Choice, King’s, Queen’s, Prince’s or Princesses’ Choice.
The CROWN OR CROWN HEIRS of the Kingdom of Atenveldt shall select this Champion to serve for the period of one reign. Duties of the Champion shall be determined by the CROWN OR CROWN HEIRS OF ATENVELDT.
Entrant Requirements:
* MUST be over the age of 18 and reside within a zip code area recognized as the Kingdom of
Atenveldt.
* MUST display or perform no less than one (1) entry and no more than eight (8) entries.
* MUST provide completed entries or performances. Works-in-progress do NOT count toward Champion status.
* MUST register your entries with the Kingdom A&S Office no later than the beginning of the first Court on the date of the event.
* MAY pre-register your entries – Preregistration dates to be announced.
* MUST provide, at minimum, the Kingdom One-sheet documentation form per entry.
* MAY provide detailed documentation in addition to the Kingdom One-sheet documentation form per entry; to include, but not limited to, bibliography, photographs, description of your process in the creation of the entry; books, texts or treatises, and history on the item to elaborate on the Pre-17th century aspects of the entry.
* MAY sit with your entries or choose not to, but each entrant competing to become Kingdom A&S Champion is encouraged to engage with the deciding Crown and share their knowledge
with the Populace and attending Companions of the Order of the Laurel.
* MUST attend the date of the event or receive permission from the CROWN OR CROWN HEIRS to be absent.
* MAY request written feedback to be provided to the entrant at the conclusion of the event.
Youth Champion Display
Competing to become Kingdom A&S Youth Champion. Eligible for Populace Choice, Laurel’s Choice, King’s, Queen’s, Prince’s or Princesses’ Choice.
The CROWN OR CROWN HEIRS of the Kingdom of Atenveldt shall select this Champion to serve for the period of one reign. Duties of the Champion shall be determined by the CROWN OR CROWN HEIRS OF ATENVELDT.
* MUST be between the ages of 5 to 17 years of age and reside within a zip code area recognized
as the Kingdom of Atenveldt.
* MUST display or perform no less than one (1) entry and no more than three (3) entries.
* MUST provide completed entries or performances. Work-in-progress do NOT count toward Champion status.
* MUST register your entries with the Kingdom A&S Office no later than the beginning of the first Court on the date of the event.
* MAY pre-register your entries – Preregistration dates to be announced.
* MUST provide, at minimum, the Kingdom One-sheet documentation form per entry.
* MAY have help from a Parent or family member, and needs to include that information on their Kingdom One-Sheet documentation form per entry.
* MAY sit with your entries or choose not to.
*) MUST attend the date of the event or receive permission from the CROWN OR CROWN HEIRS to be absent.
* MAY request written feedback to be provided to the entrant at the conclusion of the event.
Showcase Display
Showing art or science works only – not eligible for the title of Kingdom A&S Champion or Kingdom Youth Champion. Eligible for Populace Choice, Laurel’s Choice, King’s, Queen’s, Prince’s, or Princesses’ Choice.
Showcase Requirements:
* MAY display or perform no less than one (1) entry and no more than eight (8) entries.
* MAY display works-in-progress or completed works or a combination.
* MAY provide written documentation or choose not to.
* MAY sit with your entries or choose not to. Artisans displaying in the Showcase are encouraged to sit with their works to engage with and share their knowledge with the Populace and attending Companions of the Order of the Laurel.
Box Lunches
While there are many local restaurants available, why miss out on any of the fun? We will be offering a simple box lunch at the event if you don’t want to bring your own. These will be a cold lunch with sandwiches and treats. We will also provide water and tea.
Menu will be posted closer to the date. We will have options for people with dietary restrictions. We will ask you to complete a form for it.
Heraldic Competition
Come to the event and represent your Barony, your Kingdom, or your personal arms and win an award for each category. You should be wearing or holding your representation and be prepared to do a walk through the crowd to drum up support.
