Kingdom Arts & Sciences: Meet the Masters (BoA)

The Kingdom Arts & Sciences Office and the Barony of Atenveldt invite you to the Spring 2026 A&S: Meet the Masters!!

At this con-style event we are inviting ALL artisans show your skills by demonstrating an art that you love. Inspire others to join you in that art or science. Artisans are encouraged to have a make and take at their table so that people have the opportunity to experience what you do! The normal style of this event is that artisans stay at their table throughout the day and demonstrate their art while others come by to see what they are working on.

Along with all the other arts, Their Majesties are challenging the fighters, knights and squires to participate in a game, specifically a Chess Game. While there will be chess boards available for one on one, we would also like to see boards or pieces the fighters made. The “piece de resistance,” there will be a live chess game, you will be a chess piece, two players will contest their pieces against each other. Count Thomas and Baroness Kattra have agreed to assist with the organization and running of the game. This promises to be most entertaining, so don’t miss out. As if this isn’t enough fun for the day the new A&S champion will be selected by the heirs at this event. You may enter a separate display, or your demo can be your entry so you don’t have to choose one or the other. You must have documentation for either means of entering but only one item, or demo is required.

Bards & Buskers

In addition, we are once again hosting the busking competition and invite all bards to participate. We will give tin cups and bards should be working the crowds to get “paid” for their performances. The bard with the most coins will be declared as Busker Extraordinaire. Register to demonstrate your art or for busking.
