Oyez!  Oyez!  Unto the noble populace of the Kingdom, Spring Crown Tournament approaches more quickly this year, with the date set at the end of January.  And so, even as we just introduced new Heirs, the call comes again for fighters to demonstrate their chivalry and skill at arms as we again choose the next Heirs to the Crown of Atenveldt.  All are invited to attend and enjoy a weekend of pageantry, companionship, and combat in the mild desert climes of the Barony of Twin Moons.  For fighters wishing to participate in Crown Tournament, letters of Intent for Crown are due by 31 December 2025.  Please visit https://www.atenveldt.org/news/spring-crown-lois/ for more information on where and how to submit Letters of Intent, as well as information on content and other requirements.

On Saturday, combatants will take to the field to demonstrate their chivalry and courtesy as they present their consorts, and their prowess and skill at arms as they compete to become Heirs to the Crown of Atenveldt.  

On Sunday, mass weapons combat will be on display in the Warlord tournament, with the winner helping to lead our armies in war.  In addition, the Queen’s Rapier Champion and King’s Cut & Thrust Champion tournaments spotlight light weapons in the spotlight. 

Site Information:

• We will be occupying the north end of the park, east of the ballfields.  
• Staking is allowed, but please do note and avoid sprinkler heads.  
• The site has potable water and stone privies, as well as additional porta-johns.
• There is sufficient parking on the site, but nearby parking is limited.  Plan to unload and move your vehicle once unloaded.
• There will be no camping.  The nearest hotels are: Residence Inn by Marriott—10243 E. Hampton Ave. Mesa AZ 85209. (Suite style)
• Country Inn & Suites—6650 E. Superstition Springs blvd. Mesa AZ 85206 (amenities within walking distance of hotel) 
• Best Western Apache Junction—1101 W. Apache Trail, Apache Junction AZ 85120 (closest)
