Virtual Kingdom Collegium
Collegium is all about learning! We gather for an event filled with classes about the Middle Ages!
Classes during the Collegium can be informative lectures, interactive demonstrations or even make and take projects. They range from many different beginner classes as well as things for advanced artisans to discover. Classes cover a wide range of topics including brewing, dancing, textile arts such as embroidery, weaving, and patterning, lamp work, metalwork, heraldry, and more! If you’ve every wanted to know “what more is there to do?” this is an event you cannot attend without picking up a new interest or two….or ten.

DO WE HAVE TO PREREGISTER OUR ENTRIES?
Â
No.  Entrants do not need to preregister – BUT one may save time if they choose to Register their entries Early. Â
Â
Entrants are recommended to be on site when site opens at 9:00 am on Saturday Morning.  Registration is set to open at 9:00 am. We may open registration as early as 8:30 a.m., but that will depend upon our staff availability.  As registration may take a few minutes, we expect there will be some time spent waiting in line to get all of your entries accounted for. Â
Â
EARLY REGISTRATION – Entrants and Entries
Â
If you wish to preregister your entries, you may contact me, Mistress Magdalen, The Kingdom A&S Minister, from now up until Thursday, May 19th, 2022 at midnight and I will have your packet ready to go on Saturday morning, May 21, 2022 which should save you time and allow you to avoid standing in line for longer than you would like to.  Â
Â
CLASS LISTÂ
Â
We currently have 13 teachers offering 18 classes.   The schedule is almost finished and will be posted by this weekend (May 13-15th, 2022) in a separate post. Â

VOLUNTEERS
Â
We welcome any and all volunteers to assist with entrant check in, the potluck, entry set up, event cleanup, event heralds, and assistants for anything else that has need of doing. Â
Â
JUDGES
Â
We invite you to serve as a judge.  No certification is required.  We want all of our Artisan community to consider providing feedback to our entrants in the areas of the arts and sciences they are best versed in.  You may be a Laurel.  You may be a new member.  You may be a long-time SCA participant.  You may be a Peer who is not a Laurel. We simply ask you to offer to judge in the areas of arts and sciences you know best.  The Goal is to provide feedback that is helpful to our fellow artisans.Â
Â
Depending upon which items are entered and which entries advance to the last round, we may not have need for judges in every category, but we sure do hope you will consider offering your services as a judge so that our entrants may receive valuable feedback concerning their artwork. Â
Â
