Border Wars Cancelled

by | Last updated Mar 1, 2024 | All News

Greetings good gentles of Atenveldt,

After much consideration, I have reviewed our available precautions and the risk involved in the event we all looked forward to: Border Wars.

At this time, I affirm that we are unable to proceed with as much safety and caution as is required to feel comfortable promoting attendance at this event, nor were we able to achieve a compromise for a new date or format. As the legal representative for our region the responsibility of this decision was mine alone and

I do hope you will all continue to support the nobility, autocrats and officers in their on-going efforts to make events happen when and where we can. There was and is much love and dedication that goes in to the planning of such activities. I offer all due respect to each and every volunteer who has lent their time and efforts to the planning. I recognize and understand the deep frustration and disappointment associated with such a cancelation and can only hope that sooner rather than later we can avoid them entirely and look forward to a robust calendar.

Currently, the local regional practices are not cancelled (unless there is a specifical local reason to do so) and I continue to ask that everyone wear their masks, wash their hands and above all else, if you are ill or know you have been exposed to COVID, please do stay home, even if you don’t want to.

Nichelle, Kingdom Seneschal of Atenveldt
