The Barony of Atenveldt invites you to the celebration of its 56th anniversary on September 13
2025!
This year we honor the changing of the seasons, celebrate the coming of fall, and
commemorate our Barony’s Birthday with a grand party befitting the Gods of Olympus. To greet
the incoming autumn season, we are inspired by the Greek stories of Hades and Persephone
who were the nobility of the underworld, of change, and of love against all odds.
As is traditional at our Anniversary, couples shall compete for the title of Nobility of Love in a
series of challenges The Nobility of Love can be any two people who wish to celebrate and
promote the virtues of courtly love: nobility, chivalry, and the courtly graces. Competitors should
be prepared to show us that they are dedicated to bringing love, friendship, and fun to the
Barony, as they compete in the 3 tasks set forth.
In addition to the Nobility of Love competition, everyone in the Barony is invited to participate
and enjoy the events of the day: an artisans showcase, a table decorating contest, and a Greek
themed potluck feast. Entrees will be provided by Their Excellencies and there will be a sign-up
for additional dishes. Details of all these activities will be coming soon!!
