Their Excellencies of The Barony Tir Ysgithr invite one and all to come join us for Gawd Awful Dragon’s Hoard!
Enjoy the autumn temperatures as we ease our way into the season of pumpkin spice and orange everything…including a the ever-orange Gawd Awful Grail. Celebrate the return of Dragon’s Hoard to the Barony, and participate in tomfoolery and serious challenges alike.

It has been two years since the Gawd Awful Goblet and associated beverage receptacles have claimed their hosts, and it is time to save those current holders from their burdens. Tournaments for the Gawd Awful Grail (Hardsuit), the Gaudy Goblet – AKA Susan (Rapier), and the Ghastly Glass (Youth Combat) will be held. Competitors seeking to claim  these drinking vessels cannot be members of the associated Peerage for that fighting style (Hardsuit/Chivalry – Rapier/MoD), but those Peers are encouraged to come and support fighters, coach, and provide feedback to fighters.

The Barony finds that as the Gawd Awful Grail and Friends have ensnared some of our best defenders, monsters of all kinds have begun to creep back into the boundaries of our borders. Fight the Dragon and Kraken, and maybe an Ogre…you may even earn the right to a part of the Dragon’s Hoard.

Additional activities will include a largesse derby and youth activities.

Tournament and other activities’ details are forthcoming – keep your eyes peeled and your ears open…

We are excited to see you there!
