Good gentles, though these words are likely not to bring with them an element of surprise, they do convey disappointment and a deeply frustrating sorrow that we all continue to battle this insidious plague.

At this time, though Her Majesty is on the mend, she has fallen ill with the Corona virus, along with several key members of the royal house. His Majesty, though testing negative to date, has been exposed. It is thus with great sadness that the crowns and seneschal do hereby cancel the Crown Tournament scheduled for next weekend, to be rescheduled at the earliest (and wisest) opportunity.

Please note that this not only means a change of date, but could mean a change of location/venue. If you are a participant in the tournament and were expecting to fight, you will hear from the seneschal directly via personal missive with some questions about potential options and preferences going forward.

Please share the news of this cancellation far and wide, and when you do so, please convey Their Majesties wishes that all who read these letters or hear these words are well and remain in good health.

If you would like a refund, they can be requested at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/15M1CGW2xca6YYXebX4JVbJT6Bt6mdfICF4WouJwk45Y/viewform?fbclid=IwAR3lo99Fb8qoNzILf9sokS0DGw79Mc-vimzfqvmxKsKhl6dxqR4YUipAbw4&edit_requested=true
