Job Description:

The Baronial Regalia Officer is a pivotal role responsible for the management, maintenance, and enhancement of our barony’s regalia and ceremonial equipment. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the visual and ceremonial identity of our barony

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an inventory of all baronial regalia, banners, and ceremonial items.
  • Oversee the storage, transportation, and display of regalia at events.
  • Collaborate with artisans and volunteers to create new regalia and accessories.
  • Ensure that regalia is maintained in good condition and repaired as needed.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of baronial ceremonies and court events

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate with artisans and volunteers for regalia projects.
  • Enthusiasm for the aesthetics and traditions of the medieval and Renaissance eras.
  • Collaborative spirit and the ability to work within a team.
  • Prior experience with SCA regalia is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to tow a cargo trailer is also a plus but not required.
