We are a diverse and inclusive group of history enthusiasts who embrace members from all walks of life. Whether you’re curious about crafting, excited to try combat or archery, or simply looking for a fun and welcoming group, we’re here to help you find your place. We host weekly activities, hands-on learning, and plenty of opportunities to connect!
Activities Are More Than Practice
You don’t have to fight to enjoy fighter or archery practice! These weekly gatherings are also social hubs where you can watch, learn, craft, or just hang out with friendly folks.
Getting Started with Garb
Not sure what to wear? Loaner garb is available for newcomers, and we offer resources and workshops to help you create your own. Garb isn’t required for many events, but it’s a fun way to express your medieval persona!
Join, Learn, and Connect
Our community is here to guide you! Through trying out loaner equipment to getting hands-on help with crafts, there’s something for everyone in our Barony. Explore online resources like Facebook or Discord, as well as stop by an event to meet folks to help you get started!

Learn calligraphy and fine art skills to create beautiful scrolls and awards with the Baronial Scribes on Tuesdays at various locations. For times and places, contact Bey Ra’id, the Baronial Signet.

Moon Valley park (Summer)
Fighter practice & populace meetup
Every Wednesday, Moon Valley Park @ 8pm – 10pm
Come socialize with the Barony, or test your skills in heavy and rapier combat on Wednesday nights at Moon Valley Park (our summer practice location). Whether you’re there to fight, craft, play music, or simply hang out, everyone is welcome! (Garb is only required on Court Night—otherwise, come as you are!)
Weekly Summer Practice Schedule
- Week 1 – Fighter Class Night: A rotating class for both heavy and rapier fighters to build skills and learn new techniques.
- Weeks 2 & 3 – Pick-Ups and One-on-One Fights: Casual sparring and personal training with plenty of time to socialize or work on projects.
- Week 4 – Court Night & Tournament: Everyone is welcome to attend Court in garb, followed by a rotating tournament—Rapier, Bardic, or Heavy Combat.

These sessions are open to all skill levels and cover a wide range of topics, from sewing and woodworking to brewing, calligraphy, and more. Whether you’re starting a new project or refining an old one, our supportive community is here to guide and inspire you.

Please join us for Thrown Weapons Practice, every 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. Cross roads are at 67th Ave and Union Hills at a Member’s private residence.

Come socialize with others in the barony or test your skills in archery at El Oso Archery Range held Sunday mornings—7 AM in summer, 9 AM in winter. Loaner archery gear are available.
