Warmest greeting unto the populace of the Barony of Granite Mountain. Listed below are the requirements for submitting your Letters of Intent for the Territorial Nobility of Granite Mountain and the information concerning participation in both the virtual and the in person polling.
Candidates must have Letters of Intent in the hands of the Crown, the Kingdom Seneschal and the Baron and Baroness of Granite Mountain
no later than July 31, 2025. Letters should be written with the understanding that (if accepted by the Crown), the letters
will be published in the Baronial newsletter for the populace to review prior to the polling (with personal information redacted).
Candidates must include the below information in their Letter of Intent:
1. Full contact information, for both of the persons seeking to serve as the Baronage, including SCA and modern names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and membership numbers and
expiration dates.
2.Their reasons for seeking the position
3.Their history of participation in the SCA and the Barony in which they reside
4.Their plans for the future of the group
5.Their understanding of the responsibilities of the position of Territorial Nobility
6.Their statement that they are willing to be installed with their preference of either two or a three-year warrant in the position.

Virtual Polling:
Virtual polling will be initiated on August 10, 2025 at 6 AM and will close on August 15, at 6 PM, 2025
In Person Polling:
In person polling will commence on August 16, 2025, directly following Investiture court, and will close promptly two hours after. As is required, please
bring proof of membership and a picture ID for polling purposes.
Special Zip Code Exception Form: If you do not have a membership address in a zip code assigned to the Barony of Granite Mountain, but
identify yourself as a member of the Barony of Granite Mountain, you may sign a special zip code exception pledge form. The pledge
form simply states that you consider yourself a member of the Barony of Granite Mountain, and promise the Crown of Atenveldt that
you will not cast a ballot in any other baronial polling for the duration of the term of service of the prospective Baronage. This form shall
remain on file for the duration of the Baronages’ tenure.
