Greetings unto the Populace of the Shire of Burning Sands!
For those not attending the Fabric Wars Event at BSD, we will be having our monthly Populace Meeting starting at 10am, June 24, 2023, Saturday at the Yuma County Heritage Library Conference Room. Afterwhich will be an A&S Class, “Intro to Scroll Illumination: Celtic Knots” led by our Minister of A&S, Lord Mihil lasting up to 12:30pm. In this class, Lord Mihil will demonstrate and teach methods of effectively designing and drawing Celtic knot artwork with a focus on scroll illumination purposes. The methods being taught can, however, be applied to a multitude of other artistic applications where one wishes to use Celtic knot art. Participants only need to bring a pencil, eraser, and a willingness to learn! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
