Job Descrption: The Archery Captain’s warrant expires on August 31st, 2025. He will be stepping down. We are seeking letters of intent for his replacement. The Captain of archers will be responsible for all archery-related activities during odd-numbered months, while Sundragon runs these activities during even-numbered months. If thrown weapons starts up again, it would also be under the supervision of the Captain of Archery.
Responsibilities:
- storing, transporting, and maintaining all baronial archery equipment
- assisting the Champion with his or her quarterly tournaments
- posting articles about upcoming schedules
- filing the required paperwork-Paperwork responsibilities include monthly reports to the KRA using the kingdom form (also CC’ing
Their Excellencies, the Baronial Marshal, and the Seneschal, filling out any paperwork for injuries or equipment failures, sending score
sheets, and IKAC and seasonal shoots to the scorekeeper for the kingdom and making sure that all waiver forms are sent to the baronial
Waiver secretary.
Qualifications:
- Be an SCA member
- Marshals are expected to have read both the Society and Kingdom handbooks and abide by them.
- Know the rules of the list and be willing to enforce them.
- It is recommended that they be a warranted marshal.
