Welcome to the Barony of Sun Dragon, Where the dragon roars and the rainbow banners fly!
Baroness Turrel and Baron Raven are honored to be the coronets for the Western Central Barony of the Kingdom of Atenveldt. We serve as the Crown’s representatives to the populace by holding regular activities that include arts, sciences, and combat activities throughout the year.
Together, we bring a love of ambience and passion for group projects as we strive to recognize our talented members and bring new experiences that make the SCA a memorable and rewarding activity.
Turrel and Raven met in the SCA and together they have traveled across the globe, learning and experiencing living history and bringing their knowledge to the Barony. Turrel has held offices in project management, recruitment and retention that have given her professional and SCA experiences to lead. Raven has held administrative offices at all levels of the Society, and has been an active fighter in all combat forms throughout the years.
Together, they lead the Barony of Sun Dragon with their officers, champions and populace. We look forward to meeting new people and showing you the fun to be had in the SCA.

What are Turrel's preferences?
Turrel enjoys a variety of cuisine but her favorite beverages are Dr. Pepper, Coke, or lemonade. She enjoys Italian and Mexican cuisine, but stays away from sushi. Chocolate and strawberries are her favorite dessert items, and she has been known to snack on peanut butter cups and jelly beans.
Does Turrel have allergy restrictions?
She has no allergies but does not like mushrooms, peas, or green beans.
What are Raven's preferences?
Raven prefers chai tea, Coke and Mountain Dew to drink. He enjoys pretzels, cheese sticks and grapes for snacks. Oreos or chocolate chip cookies are his go-to sweets and he fancies Italian or Greek cuisine.
Raven has mobility issues and is often in the company of his service dog, Patina. She is a german shephard/border collie mix. If you see her working, please do not pet or give treats without asking. Patina likes peanut butter, bacon, and playing fetch when off duty.
Does Raven have any dietary restrictions?
He cannot have chicken or turkey, but is ok with ground beef and shredded pork items; anything fatty, oily, or spicy is a concern.

What is a baronial champion?
A Baronial Champion is a distinguished member of our community chosen by the Baron and Baroness through competitions to represent the Barony in specific arts, sciences, or martial pursuits. Champions serve as role models, engage in friendly competitions, and contribute their skills and knowledge to inspire others. They proudly represent the Barony at events and help build its traditions through service, creativity, and excellence.
