Tchuki Exchange

All week long at War, keep an eye out for tchuki trading! These small tokens of stardust are shared as you meet new people, visit camps, attend classes, or simply wander the war. Tchuki trading is all fun and entirely optional. There are no rules, no required trades, and no expectation of equal value. Gifting is the way!

A tchuki can be any small, thoughtful item: a bead, charm, ribbon, stamped leather, button, patch, coin, tiny artwork, written note, or other pocket-sized token. Handmade, found, silly, or meaningful are all welcome. The story and the moment matter more than the object.

To add a little extra flavor, we invite folks to play along with optional themed days during the week:

  • Phoenix Days — fire, feathers, sun, rebirth, warmth, light
  • Dragon Days — scales, claws, hoards, strength, mischief, mystery

These themes are purely for fun and inspiration (participate as much or as little as you like)!

On Saturday at noon, everyone who’s been trading (or just curious) is invited to gather at Barony of Atenveldt Commons for a closing moment. Bring your favorite tchuki from the week, share stories if you’d like, and enjoy one last chance to gift or trade before war’s end. This is a chance to celebrate the small connections that made the week special! Come share a little joy. ✨

Here are some ice-breakers for trading throughout the week:

  • Gift one to someone you’ve just met
  • Trade one with a camp you’ve never visited
  • Offer one in thanks to someone who helped you this week
  • Swap one and invent a short story for it
  • Leave one as a small surprise for the next passerby
  • Re-gift one later in the week and keep the story going
