War of the Phoenix runs on kindness, coordination, and the occasional heroic radio call. If you’ve ever thought “I could help with that,” this is your sign.
How to sign up
Use our volunteer portal to pick a shift: choose a slot, click Volunteer, and fill out the required info. New volunteers will receive a verification email (from the event or volunteers@phxwar.atenveldt.org)—click the link to confirm your email. Your selected slot will be held briefly while you verify, so don’t dawdle like a distracted squire.

You do not have to sign up ahead of time to help. Drop by Volunteer Point during the event and we’ll match you with what’s needed.
Where help is needed
There are roles for every comfort level, including:
- Registration Gate: greet attendees and help check-in run smoothly
- Watch: desk, front gate, and rovers (radio use helpful, not required)
- Field Support: assist hydration teams and keep fighters thriving
- Marshal support: Armored, Rapier, Archery, and Thrown Weapons (check in with the Marshal in Charge)
- Youth Activities: craft aid, short classes, and demos to delight our youngest attendees
