The <\/span>Society for Creative Anachronism<\/a>, is an international, non-profit, educational organization designed for all ages as a hands-on, learn-by-doing model to research and re-create a living history of European life prior to 1600.<\/span><\/p>\n

We do a wide variety of different Arts from making Armor, Block Printing, Leatherwork, Sewing, Medieval Style Illustrations. Some of the Science are things like Cheesemaking, Dying different textiles, Brewing, Baking, Ink Making, etc.<\/p>\n

We offer plenty of classes on nearly any topic. If there’s something you want to learn, we’ll find someone to teach it!<\/em><\/p>\n

Every Thursday @7pm<\/strong> we meet in Daily Estates for everything from classes on the arts to combat!
The first Monday @7pm<\/strong> of the month we have our officers and populace meeting for planning overall Shire operations
The third Tuesday @7pm<\/strong> of the month we have a meeting for Arts and Sciences to shine, for both classes and freeform project work
And select Saturdays @5pm<\/strong> we meet at Thatcher park for drumming and fighter practice.<\/p>\n

We do two types of combat activies Armored Combat and Rapier. We meet every Thursday for practice all are welcome to attend!
Children as young as 16 (for armored combat) and 14 (for rapier) are elligible to fight as well.
