Come join us for archery at the War of Phoenix! This is a unique chance to enjoy archery all day, every day. There will be specialty shoots, tournaments, and classes happening throughout the event. Here’s what to expect and how to make the most of your archery experience!<\/p>\n

Camping with Archery Gear<\/h3>\n

If you’re camping, be sure to pack your bow or crossbow in a case or bow bag to protect it. Keep your arrows and bolts dry and out of the weather. Store your gear in a safe spot in your tent to avoid it getting stepped on or wet. Some archers use a bowstand, but you can also use a simple 5-gallon bucket to lean your bow and quiver into keep them dry. Bring extra supplies like bowstrings, nock points, fletching glue, pliers, and other repair tools so you’re prepared if you need to fix anything during the event!<\/p>\n

On the Range<\/h3>\n

Wear comfortable shoes, as the archery range can be rocky and dusty, even though it is mostly cleared of plants. We recommend bringing a chair and some shade since there won\u2019t be seating, and tournaments can make for long days. Feel free to set up a pop-up tent at the range for shade! Don\u2019t forget a hat, sunscreen, water, snacks, and a cooler for lunch to stay hydrated and energized throughout the day. And, of course, bring your bow and arrows!<\/p>\n
