New Atenveldt Video Project

We have a new video project to announce! Submissions are due no later than Monday, June 28th. The music can be found in the Atenveldt Video Projects Google Drive.

There are these songs smashed together:

I Want To Break Free by Queen
Think by Aretha Franklin
Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen
Footloose by Kenny Loggins

You don’t even need to film the whole song, just a few very short clips from as many people as possible is all we need. You can choose to film a clip for only one section, or all four, it’s entirely up to you, but the more clips (and the more fun they are) the better.

For the first section we’re looking for people to be looking out of windows longingly, faces pressed to the glass, or grabbing bars on doors, etc. Anything that screams “LET ME OUT!”

During Think (it’s the Freedom part of the song) we’d like to have people running and leaping through your doors, celebrating your ability to go do all the things. FREEDOOOOOOOM!

Then we get to Don’t Stop Me Now, ’cause I’m having a good time!” That’s where we’d love to see everyone doing what they love. Send us clips of you doing all the things: fighting, scribal, A&S, cooking, whatever SCA things you’re excited about, and looking forward to doing again.

The last section is Footloose. This is where you get to rock out, dance, jump, and shake it all out! We’ll roll credits during some of this section, but will cut back during “Everybody cut, everybody cut.” This is the only section you need to even play the music for.

Most importantly, HAVE A BLAST! We don’t need you to record yourself doing the whole song, just a clip or so for whatever sections appeal to you, or a clip for each section. The more submissions the better! Please tell your friends!

Remember to wear your awesome garb, and film in landscape mode (the long way, not up and down). Let’s lead the charge to new SCA video gold!

You can put your videos into the Atenveldt Freedom Folder with your name on it in the same Google Drive.
