There will be merchants selling and trading their finest wares\, numerous A&S activities\, and a Fabric Melee for all at the end of the event. Inspired by the Medieval Ballads of Robin Hood\, which were popular in the late Middle Ages\, this is a day to celebrate all of our favorite Medieval or Fantasy inspired characters! We are back at the same space as last year\, the cool and expansive Glendale Civic Center. There is plenty of space for Merchants\, and there will be a $5 fee per table. The site tokens are small pouches containing 10 tokens. There will be games where participants can earn more tokens to spend in the marketplace or go toward the door prize. Games will be a trivia game\, pin the tail\, musical chairs\, guess the number of sweets in the jar. Lunch will be a potluck with Twin Moons providing Toscano soup and vegan minestrone and bread. Attendees will bring side dishes and desserts. The first court will begin at 1 pm. The132-acre monastery was dissolved in 2017\, and now hosts group and private retreats\, andoffers facilities for classes\, workshops\, conferences\, and weddings. Also on the property are anauditorium\, an adobe chapel\, a library\, and several artesian-fed ponds. Site has shade trees\,stone privies\, porta-potties\, on-site water spigots\, and roll-off trash service. Camping isdiscreetly wet\, staking is allowed\, and above ground fire pits in designated areas are permitted(with extinguisher). There is an on-site Gift Shop and Coffee Shop (limited hours). ADA Stoneprivies and porta johns with hand washing. A limited number of on-site accommodations areavailable for rent\, including lodging\, and full and partial RV hook-ups for a fee. Bensonand Tombstone are the closest towns with hotels/motels. The Benson Hospital is 11 milesaway. There is a Dollar General 2 miles away in Saint David\, and a Walmart and Safeway inBenson\, within 15 minutes. Closest gas is in Benson. DESCRIPTION:How to Publish your Event \nSend your submissions to  chronicler@atenveldt.org.  Your submission MUST include a complete event article as well as a signed\, completed Event Form filed with the Kingdom Seneschal\, the Kingdom Calendar Officer and the Kingdom Chronicler.   \nDeadline – These must be submitted no later than midnight the first of the month directly before the month the event is held (eg. for an event in July\, the deadline is midnight June 1st).  Late submissions may not be published.   \nMaximum size is 7.75″ wide by 4.75″ high – submit text or a display advert.  (Display adverts are encouraged) \nFor Text – Use a single font\, minimum 9pt; basic formatting OK (bullets\, bold\, underlines); do not use tabs or create columns. Attached MS word\, .txt or Open Office files are preferred.  \nDisplay Advert – Use WHITE BACKGROUNDS and LINE DRAWING images (to make it readable in print and online). Minimum fonts size is 8pt\, larger is preferred. Chose fonts wisely as some ornate fonts are VERY hard to read when printed.  Electronic formats\, in order of preference\, are: .pdf\, .doc\, .pub\, .jpg \nArt & Creative Works All art submitted with flyers must have permission to publish. This information should be included in the email accompanying your flyer. All original creative works\, including cover or filler art\, writing or photos must be accompanied by the correct release form. Flyers containing art obtained from public domain sources must submit source of art. \nEvent articles must contain the following minimum information \n·         Event date (day\, month and legal year) \n·         Sponsoring group’s name \n·         Site name\, street address\, city\, state and zip code \n·         Exact site opening and closing times \n·         Event Steward(s) name (SCA and modern) and contact information \n·         Site fee(s)\, including $5 non-member surcharge.
