Atenveldt Golden Sun A&S Harvest Fest

It’s harvest time, or better known to the Norse as Dis-Blessing! It marks the beginning of the long dark wintertime at which memory becomes more important than foresight, at which old tales are told and great deeds are toasted as we ready ourselves for the spring to come.

The time of year to mark the turning from summer to winter, the focusing of our awareness from outside to inside, it also marks the beginning of a time of indoor work, thought and craftsmanship. The Norse celebrated this time with a feast and was seen as a time to celebrate our kinship and friendship with both the living and our earlier forebears.

Here in Atenveldt we are celebrating this time by displaying our arts and sciences and choosing our new A&S champion.  It’s time to dust off that piece you have been working on and get it ready to share with the kingdom.
