Commander of the Vert Glove

I. There shall exist in the Barony of Atenveldt an award, known as the Order of the Commanders of the Vert Glove, which will be given by the Baron and Baroness, subject to the pleasure of the Crown, to those persons who through the years have made a major and continuing contribution in performing, promoting and teaching the chivalrous art of light weapons combat.

II. The holders of this award shall be styled as Commanders of the Vert Glove and shall be entitled to place the initials C.C.V.G. after their names.

III. The insignia of the Order shall consist of a copper medallion pendant presented on a green ribbon, whose design shallbe: Argent, two palm trees coupled, trunks crossed in saltire proper, and in chief a sinister glove appaumy vert.

IV. Only individuals who have previously been inducted into the Order of the Vert Glove as a companion of that Order shall eligible for this award.

V. Only two individuals shall be inducted into this order per calendar year.

VI. Members of the Order shall take precedence after Kingdom and Principality awards, but before Companions of Baronial Orders.

VII. Amendments to this constitution shall be made by the Baron and Baroness of Atenveldt after due consultation with the Crown.

VIII. Membership of previous recipients of this award is hereby confirmed.

IX. The Principal of the Order shall be the Baron. The Protector of the Order shall be the King. The Premier of this Order shall be the first person to receive this award.
